How does interior design work with Bager?

Design is the first phase of our design + build process: we resolve space planning, selections, finishes and layouts on paper before any construction. Because we build what we design, nothing gets drawn that can't be built well.

Is interior design a separate cost or part of the project?

For most clients it is scoped into the overall project rather than billed as a standalone fee — design and build are one engagement, one team, one point of responsibility. We agree the scope with you up front.

Do you only design kitchens and baths, or the whole home?

Both. We handle single-room design through whole-home design for remodels and additions — space planning, finish and fixture selections, kitchen and bath design, lighting and millwork.

Can I use Bager for design if I'm not ready to build yet?

Yes. Many clients start with design to get clarity and a realistic range before committing to construction — clarity before commitment is the point of the design phase.

How does design keep the budget under control?

Resolving plans, selections and allowances on paper means decisions happen before demolition, not during it. That is what lets us fix the investment before we break ground.

What do I end up with at the end of design?

Plans and selections resolved enough to build from, and a single fixed investment for the construction — the number you approve is the number we build to.
